On our last full day here in the big city we were still out 'hitting the streets' doing what we do here. Coffee with the owner/director of Open Hand, and then an afternoon 'gathering' with the Delhi branch of Habitat for Humanity. And then of course a 'last supper' at Sam's...they made it all alittle 'hotter' just for us. Well, we've been to visag, and you know, there's just no turnin' back from that cookin'.

The 'facilities'

Nothing like it..the train from visag to koraput in Orissa! If you have road it, you know what I'm saying is so very true! We met some awesome new friends out here...and blessed to find Christ 'movin' here despite any number of reasons we might think that He might just be hampered a wee bit. We reconnected with old friends too, and all in all found God to be a glorious God. Our 'work here is finished' least for this round. Were off tomorrow to begin the long trip home. It will take days, but we will take a little Orissa with us.

The Train

We're off again. This time by train to Orissa. It was a bit hairy as we found ourselves without taxis to the rail station at 5am. But where there is a will there is a way! We made it despite adversity and the ever constant rain. We're on our way now out into the deep...hoping to connect with out friend pastor Hanak. Thanks for your prayers...we feel your presence!

Ministry from the deck of the Ark

I would tell you the name of the city we are in today, but i really have no idea! But what an awesome gift it is to go to these brothers and sisters around enter into these communities around the world find fellow believers and committed disciples
worshiping the same God as we do but half a world away from Wisconsin.
The day we arrived here it began to rain, and since then the sky has opened up and it has poured every day...for nearly all day! It has rained nearly unceasingly for 4 days and the streets have been getting flooded. We missed some ministry opportunities because of canceled school classes, but something else has continued to open before us every time! The rain weakened the dirt and a huge tree fell into the street right in front of us last night and stopped all traffic!

Greetings from south-eastern india! We have arrived here in visag safe and sound. People on the street that we met nearly two years ago remember us, and its great to be back here again. Tuesday will be a teaching day as we will conduct our discipleship series at an area church. The team has been great and a blessing to travel with. (even Rich! No lie!) Its been raining since we got off the plane yesterday, so tomorrows travels may be by boat, but we'll be out there...

A Good Day was had by All

A great day here in Delhi. We worshipped with a great bunch of believers in a local church, where I was given the opportunity to share our vision and activities in India and pray over some of the flock. We 'broke bread" after with some of them and they took us to a local joint where we weren't apt to run into any other foreigners I think. Some seriously 'all-you-can-eat' Indian food that moved us dangerously close to the spontaneous combustion zone. We're ready to teach and it's off to the south of India tomorrow. Thanks for your prayers and please don't stop! We feel your presence... Tim

Good morning from Amsterdam. Its great to be back at Shelter hostel. We had a chance to hang out last nite at the shelter Bible study with 2 of the from idaho and one from Croatia. We just spent the time talking about our testimonies and hour good our God is. Team devotions and then we're out on the streets for a bit and then we take the train out to the airport and than we're out to Delhi.
