Thousands of distant galaxies were revealed when the Hubble Space Telescope looked
at a seemingly blank area of the sky to see deeper into the universe than before.
This image is about a tenth of NASA's "Ultra Deep Field" revealed in 2004,
and almost every speck of light in it is a galaxy. The area of the sky in this image
is about 1/100 of the area your thumbnail takes up with your arm extended.
God and his creation is so big. And I am so small in the grand scheme of things. And yet He not only found me in the endless span’s of the universe...He loved me, He chose me, and He called me. I look out at the sky’s at night and think of Isaiah 40, verse 12… “Who has measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, or with the breadth of his hand marked off the heavens?” Wow. All that out there, the ‘size of His hand?’ And yet...He became small enough to come to me….He humbled himself , and become as a man (Php 2:8).
The heavens are not big enough to contain Him, yet He lives inside of me...
